Spartansburg is a borough of 300 people in the northeastern corner of Crawford County Pennsylvania. It is surrounded by wooded areas, farms, and Amish communities but is close to larger cities as well.
The borough, which was incorporated in 1856, has been busy and active since its beginnings. The many volunteers who serve the Borough Council, Fire Department, Auxiliary, Community Fair, Clear Lake Authority and other organizations help to provide its 300 residents a peaceful and inviting place to live and raise a family.
Our businesses, medical center and churches provide for many of the day-to-day needs of the community, and the Clear Lake recreational area serves up fishing, picnics and Rails to Trails walking and biking.
